S-400 Missile Defense System is the best Missile Defense System on the world which was clarified by The Economists in 2017 as "one of the best air-defense system currently made"  and also phrased by Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) as "It is among the most advanced air defense systems available".  It was first inducted in the Russian military in 2007 from then till now this defense system performed with high accuracy and it can shoot down the aircraft, drone, or missile from ground to air within 400 km, it is also known for its advanced radar system in it. When the deal signed Russia assures India to expect the delivery of the first batch of S-400 in late 2021. Meanwhile, some media reports say that the delivery of S-400 to India may delay by 2-3 years, but the Russian ambassador categorically said that there will no delay in delivering the defense system to India but also said that India can expect a minor delay, in which the ambassador wasn't clear about his statement. Now the defense minister of India went to Russia to only ensure quick delivery of S-400 and also ask them to deliver the S-400 system even before the date initially agreed.

Why India wants quick delivery of S-400 Defense System

China had identified the capacity and power of the S-400 Defense System earlier then the experts say and placed an order with Russia in 2014 and after 4 years in 2018 China got its first batch of delivery of the world's advanced defense system which now becomes an integral part of Chinese armed force which is a threat for India. China had also shared the data of the S-400 system with Pakistan while doing a bilateral military exercise Shaheen with Pakistan and revealed all its capacity and range which is a great opportunity for Pakistan to know about S-400 working strategies even before the Indian armed force knows. As India installed Indian made Akash defense system in Ladakh border, we can expect China to do the same near Ladakh border so we have to be ready for every possible situation in the future so we are desperately in need of Russian made S-400 defense system. Recently India got advise to prepared 2 front war with Pakistan and China by media houses, if India has S-400 then it will be easier to deal with Pakistan that India would install defense system near Lahore or Islamabad where the actual range of s400 is 400km which is more then enough to defend Pakistan and on the other hand, India can place another battery of s400 near Ladakh border where it can cover 400 km region and can choke the Chinese aircraft which is flying inside the radar range (400km). As Delhi is our National Capital Region from where the government of India is running so it is necessary to have some sought of security to Delhi city so it would be better if India mounts the S-400 air defense system in Delhi, where it protects the Indian National Capital Region. When India gets S-400 System it can also enjoy the state of the art radar system comes with S-400 is high in accuracy and can detect an aircraft from a range of 600 km which would make India Air Force get lots of data on enemies air activities and also shoot down the aircraft within 400km.
