As Russia is a key strategic partner to India if Russia joins G7 it would be a greater or balanced diplomatic alliance to India in G7 and now the European countries reject Russia which will result in Russia create a stronger partnership with China on top of that when India will become a part of G7 there will be declarations passed against China by G7 and Russia being a strategic partner to China will defend the G7 declaration that will make for the first time Russia to give statements against Indian foreign policy and more likely to support China.
